Hey Everyone, Today I bring to you my first re-vamped guide on old updates that was one of my new year's resolutions for 2017. I am answering a question that I see many questioning: are jewels still worth it? With all of the new things going on in Wizard101, jewels aren't considered as a priority anymore, but I think they should be. Read more about what I think about jewels and why you should still use them. :) Importance of JewelsYes jewels are worth it, and they are really important. There are many good jewels out there in the Spiral, you just have to put the effort toward them. A previous jewel post I wrote in August 2 years ago (Jewel Farming ) is about lots of jewels to farm for . Another place that I have found great since then is Mirror Lake . Here are some of the creatures there and what they drop. I am thinking of doing a more in-depth guide on farming Mirror Lake, not just jewels, but everything there. I'll see about it ;D Goliath Bruiser Accurate Talent Opal Blade of Ice Sapphire Boss Toad Peridot Clock Spider Citrine Conviction Talent Opal Disarmament Amethyst Fire Dragon Ruby Frost Giant Sapphire Gargantuan Talent Opal Infector Onyx Mend Minion Talent Peridot Mend Talent Opal Opaque Critical Amethyst +8 Opaque Critical Citrine +8 Opaque Critical Sapphire +8 Opaque Defense Citrine +33 Opaque Defense Jade +33 Opaque Defense Onyx +33 Opaque Defense Ruby +33 Opaque Defense Sapphire +33 Orthrus Peridot Piercemonger Peridot Power Nova Citrine Rebirth Jade Storm Lord Amethyst The Deer Knight Rises Onyx Tower Shield Sapphire Read more about Goliath Bruiser Starburst Spider Blizzard Lizard Sapphire Buff Minion Talent Opal Death-Eye Onyx Disarmament Amethyst Draconian Opal Fire Dragon Ruby Infallible Opal Life-Boon Jade Opaque Critical Citrine +8 Opaque Critical Onyx +8 Opaque Critical Ruby +8 Opaque Critical Sapphire +8 Opaque Defense Jade +33 Opaque Defense Onyx +33 Opaque Defense Ruby +33 Opaque Defense Sapphire +33 Power Nova Citrine Storm Lord Amethyst Read more about Starburst Spider Tse Tse Snaketail Accurate Opal Balanceblade Talent Citrine Cat Bandit Opal Fire Dragon Ruby Frost Giant Sapphire Giant Opal Halt Leader Opal Ice-Shot Sapphire Opaque Accurate Opal +4% Opaque Critical Amethyst +8 Opaque Critical Citrine +8 Opaque Defense Amethyst +33 Opaque Defense Onyx +33 Opaque Critical Jade +8 Opaque Piercing Onyx +4% Opaque Piercing Peridot +4% Opaque Piercing Ruby +4% Orthrus Peridot Plain Damage Citrine +16 Plain Damage Jade +16 Plain Defense Ruby +32 Rebirth Jade Scarecrow Onyx Read more about Tse-Tse Snaketail As you can see, all the creatures in this dungeon have a long list of jewel drops (that took up half my blog lol) so you have a very good chance of getting 1, 2, or even 3 jewels. Personal Jewel ExperienceI have found that jewels have impacted my stats greatly. One of my jewels has 12 resistance to each school which majorly helps. I also have another jewel that gives 6 damage to each school! And, there's more than that! There's accuracy jewels, card giving jewels, critical jewels, and tons of other options to help out your character!
Many others feel the same way about jewels as I do! I love them; coolest prizes ever. And, what can you craft with them? Housing, tapestries, MOUNTS! :D Even though I haven't crafted one yet... anyways yeah enjoy! RattlebonesThe Rattle, (as I call it) being my favorite, is VERY easy to farm for. Don't waste those crowns - just read the chart! ;) Dropped by: Rattlebones Where: Unicorn Way (look on your map) 50 fight = 3-4 duels Strategies to make it faster & easier to win 1. Buy a deck and call it (with the naming thing in the top left corner of the deck) "Wizard City Deck" 2. Add all your 1-5 pip spells. (4 pip everyone spells work nicely, so place max copies of those) No blades or traps - not needed (really, don't waste your time doing this) 3. If you enjoy overkilling, put some gargantuans in your treasure cards (this way you may win things a little quicker, like 40 = 4) Good luck Rattle destroyers! KrokopatraKrokopatra is easy as well but it takes a smidge longer to farm for... (but still better than using crowns) Dropped by: Krokopatra Where: Temple of Storms Dungeon (in Krokotopia, through the portal thing on the side) (Unknown) Breeze through the dungeon! 1. Buy a deck and call it (with the naming thing in the top left corner of the deck) "Krokotopia Deck" 2. Add all your 3-6 pip spells. (4 pip everyone spells work nicely, so place max copies of those) Only a few blades or traps - not really needed (if you have high damage and critical, you don't need blades & traps) 3. If you enjoy overkilling, put some gargantuans in your treasure cards (this way you may win things a little quicker) Doing the dungeon Temple of Storms takes longer if you don't know the codes. So here's something; pull up my blog and there you have your answers to this dungeon simple and easy :) Part 1: light up snake, bird, tree, and beetle Part 2: have a friend turn off the suns, you turn on the moons (or if your by yourself just do it) Part 3: A: click x once on the braziers to change to storm B: Sun, tree, snake, and beetle (HAS TO BE THAT ORDER) and then you'll see a portal Now, look at my map and go here. Don't worry, the gates will open as you approach. There is Krokopatra. Go straight on to her. No need to do anything else :) Good luck Temple of Storm travelers (I love making up these names!) ~ Ali <3
