Hey Everyone, First and for most, happy October! Hope this month has had a wonderful start for all of you! :) Second, my post introduction: A while ago, I responded to a post on the message boards that was a very interesting topic. The question was: do wizards age? Well, that's a trip that we will never have an absolute conclusion, but we can predict based on the level and look of the wizards. From this, I went deeper into creating a Wizard101 schedule for our age group of wizards! Enjoy reading the background of how I came to my schedule and how you can create one too! View the forum here! Wizard AgesYou can suggest by the look of our wizards (picture of me on the sidebar on the right) that we are early teenagers, 13 or 14 years old. In some outfits though, we may look older, but professors call us "young wizard," meaning we are growing but learning, which would put us at 13 or 14. I thought Ali looked 14, which would mean her schedule would be for 8th grade. We also probably finish all of our quests in a year, because we do not take membership breaks and things like that :P :P So here is what my schedule came to look like! How it WorksYour academic/magic classes are the schools you train. Even if you have only trained one or two spells in that class, you still would have it on your schedule. I have myth and life, and of course before those two are homeroom, which is just the class you go to before the bell rings, which is at 8:30. Your homeroom teacher is the class you got when you took the quiz, your main school. I have Cyrus Drake because I am myth. In homeroom, you will just be given forms, be giving the teacher forms, and so on. Then, you will stay in that class, because if its your school you obviously trained it, and do your first class. I, again, am myth. In magic classes, you learn spells, do assignments, read textbooks, take notes from the instructor, etc. Then, because I trained life too, I go to Moolinda Wu after myth is over. (After those 3 periods, you have lunch and study hall, where you work on homework.) However, not all wizards have trained only 2 schools. If you have more, that limits the connections (that's what we call it where I live), or extra curricular classes you can take. Extra curricular classes are crafting, gardening, fishing, and PVP. For example, if you have 4 magic classes, lets say your hr is ice, then you have ice magic class, then fire, then lunch, then study hall, then death, then storm. Death and storm would take up the time while I am in crafting and gardening, so you have 2 less extra curricular spots. So then, you could take only 2 extra classes instead of all 4, like I can. It works out like a schedule would for school :) If you trained 6 schools, you can't have an extra curricular, unless you give up study hall (which is not the best possible choice because extra curriculars help you get into a good college, like the Arcanum :)). If you had 7 schools, you could not have study hall, which would be really bad because you'd have tons and tons of homework! lol! :P And, you'd have no extra curricular, either, just all academics (not my way of school :P there has to be a fun-of-your-own-choice class in my opinion :P :D) How to Make One!I started out by finding a scroll image on Google, because scrolls are very wizard-like :) Below is the image I chose if you would like to download it too. Now, save and copy and paste it into any photo shop/photo editing app, such as Paint or whatever else you like :) I chose Paint because it's very easy to work with and something I use regularly :)
And now, start photo shopping! Put your grade (you can do 8th if you feel that is what your wizard looks like, or you can change it to 12th or college level if you think your wizard is older :)), write your wizard's last name and then comma first (Dragongem, Allison/ Frostbreeze, Fiona / Griffinspear, Jasmine / etc.), write schedule and the year you are reading this :), do Course, Teacher, Period Time, and add your classes! The font I used was Segoe Script which you can download here and... that's about it! :) Thank you for reading, have a wizardly day! ~ Ali
