This post is going to kick start a brand new series: Projects by Ali! I have a lot of resolutions this year that I personally want to do in Wizard101, and this is a great way for me to do so, and share my experiences here!
The first project I'll be doing is probably going to be the biggest this year: The Great Sale (hence the name). I have a very bad habit of whenever my backpack gets full, instead of going to the Bazaar and selling un-needed items, I stash it in my house, which makes my houses VERY full. And, since those houses are already decorated, I have to throw the items wherever I have room, and the housing space! Most of my houses are maxed out of items; the ones that are not are real close! I literally ruined a house or 2 because of throwing furniture in there... lol.
Not only have I ruined my houses, I have also put lots of rubbish things in my bank and shared bank- whether it be seeds, fail pets, and useless no auction gear that I don't feel like feeding my pet lol. Especially when there is a team waiting on me to clear out my backpack before entering a battle, I deeply hurry and don't pay much attention to what I toss in my banks and what I toss in my castles. Anyone have the same habit? I bet some do, just not near as bad! lol
So how am I doing this project?
To begin, when I have time, I am going through my houses and picking up any furniture that has been thrown there and I don't need. Sometimes I'll just throw a table in the backyard lol. If I don't need it, it's going! There's no "I will need this someday" and "This could be useful," NOPE! If I am not currently using it, it's being sold to the Bazaar!
How did I ever get 'Nailed Boards'? And why did I keep them? lol
Bazaar line XD
I constantly had to keep going out into Olde Town and the Shopping District to get more mana from marking my spot. It did make it a lot quicker, however, to go to my house, get items, then instantly go to the Bazaar, and repeat.
Get back here, mana!
After I went through all my houses taking out the for-sure-don't-need-items, I had well over 70,000 gold. I went from 7,000 (literally) to 70,000, just going through houses! Wow!
My shared bank and bank weren't as bad as I thought; I made 10,000 more from selling everything un-needed in there.
Then, because I didn't have much time left until I had to go, I went to one of my other characters. Her houses didn't have any items; I rarely play on her and her backpack doesn't get full often. I did find some items in her bank though to sell and made about 5,000 of that ;)
At the end, I had made...
Wow! All that! I couldn't believe going through two characters and made that much gold! And, I am still NOT done with The Great Sale! There are still plenty more banks to go through! I can't wait! It feels good to finally sell some of these items I've been holding onto for so long!
Do you have anything to get rid of in your bank, shared bank, backpack or houses? Now's the best time! 2017 isn't far into its year and if you start doing good things now, you'll be able to do better later! I plan to redo 2 of my houses! That will be fun! I'll share those experiences too!
Sell, sell away my wizards!
See you in The Bazaar!

Wizard101 has definitely grown over the past year, and for the better, too! While looking through my old blog posts for inspiration, I found this one post that immediately caught my eye! It had bunches of pictures, research gathered in it, and a lot of thought and time, too! Well, today's your lucky day; we're time traveling to March 4th 2016: the time of teaser release for the W101 spring update!
This post caught my eye because I recognized the title very well. Oh, the title. That title I had memorized in my head. (It was the best I could think of XD) And, the pictures. I could visualize the pictures any day. I had put SO much time into my teaser research! I spent hours on the computer the past several days thinking and thinking until my head hurt. I looked through other fansite's posts, I did countless internet searches, I surfed the forums, and bunches more! Really why this post stood out was the remembrance of having fun coming up with ideas about what these teasers could possibly mean. Even though I wanted to throw my computer at the wall for not letting me upload a video or insert a link, it was a lot of fun coming up with, whether my theories appeared right or wrong!
So why else did I choose to bring back this post, besides the fact that it was one of the most enjoyable?
First of all, I began writing it almost a year ago, and was continually updating it through the course of the month. It's hard to update a post every few days, and I was happy I could keep up with each teaser release and still deal with school! This really inspired me to try harder to update my blog, though it's been lacking a weekly post lately. But, I promise I'll get back on schedule! The last week of February I have winter break (starting now, actually) so I should be posting a lot! :D Be checking for that ;D
Second, it's the time again for a Spring Update, soon! Middle to end of March is normally when it happens. It's still a month away, but you can never plan too far ahead! So, what's on this update? I plan to make some analysis posts with theories before the time comes, very similar to the March 3rd 2016 post. We'll never know if we will get teasers throughout March, but, an analysis post can still be made, with or without some teasers! It just means you got to think a little harder ;)
And now finally, I am going to let you view the link to this post I have been talking about all along. View it here
I hope you enjoyed reading my perspectives on this post. It's amazing how a single post that just popped into my mind can be wrote and shared to my fans, and myself, honestly!
Have a great day, wizards!

PS: Should I do more throwback post posts? (tongue twister :P)
