Housing tutorials, guides, reviews, and more
While in the Bazaar today looking at pet snacks, I saw these mysterious breads. They are rank 0, and have no stat. I was wondering if this was a glitch or what but it's on the wiki... haha! http://www.wizard101central.com/wiki/Snack:Bread
These two links on Central & forums made me laugh...
Nobody has seen the fortified bread though it seems :P I asked on Central if you want to check it out lol http://www.wizard101central.com/forums/showthread.php?484087-Mysterious-Fortified-Bread&p=5420007#post5420007
Have a great day!
I've been wanting to talk about this for a long time but just never got around to it. Between the spring update, school, homework, homework, and homework, I'e never had time to talk about something different from Wizard101 for a change. Are you curious how I run my blog(s)? Are you wanting to start a blog? Here, I'm providing some basic tips and my humble opinions. But, the best tip anyone can give is do what floats your spiral! ;)
1. What's the easiest blogging software?
To be honest, I went about through 10 different website/blog makers, and this one (Weebly) was by far the easiest. I'm a type person who can self-teach myself technology as long as its not overwhelming with too many settings and such. Weebly was just the place for that! I read a lot of reviews saying it was good and easy to use, so I went with it. I made my site in about 2 weeks of summer days (roughly 3 hours a day). For my first time, that's really good. I tried Blogger, but it was confusing. I know a lot of people manage it but it's really not for me. I was going to use it for my Pirate101 site for a change but nah... Weebly is my go-to.
2. What's the hardest part of Weebly?
Sometimes it freezes or lags (especially when inserting photos or YouTube videos; that's why I sometimes just leave a link) if I have W101 running at the same time but that's pretty reasonable. I usually just take screenshots, log off, then post anyways. Also, I had to find out what all the post options and side details and blog sidebar and all that stuff was in the beginning.
3. What's the hardest part of blogging?
Remembering to blog on time - school and homework can get pretty hectic! I get home a lot later (close 2 hours) than last school year. From there, I immediately eat dinner and then off to my long study nights and worksheets!
Finding things to blog about - I'm not a person who will just leave you hanging; I'm determined to find something to blog about. It's not always easy. In those periods of time when there are holidays, Kingsisle as well as other fansites are busy. There are those times when no updates are near and everyone is just crazy busy. I get most of my inspiration from other sites or just thinking about something randomly. That's my creative side ;)
Making sure I include everything - When I blog, I'm time-scrunched and I have to hurry and type/screenshot pretty fast. I usually don't see typos right away or realize I forgot to underline or bold something or add a pic. Most of the time, I don't even go back and re-read. It's a pain to go back and edit but... That's literally how my life is!
4. Why do I blog?
I talk about this more often than not, but it should really be in here! I do it for:
The community - With Wizard101 becoming more and more complex, you guys are more on the search for guides and some websites to read about your favorite game! Even if I am not sharing a guide, I'm sharing my love for W101 and I hope I have helped spread it or helped you introduce it to people in your real life.
Myself - This helps me calm down, relax, and learn so so much. I've met friends and got to have some chats with other people. It is just such a great benefit to me and I am very thankful that I found the KI/gaming world.
Friends and family - My Wizard101 friends as well read this blog, and it's a way for us to memoralize our fun times. In many of my posts they were there behind the scenes of the screenshots! Kudos to you guys and gals!
That's about it. I may make a number 2... what do you guys think?
Cya around the spiral :D

*ignore the sloppy "snowhoppers" in the header lol
Last week I found someone to hatch with for a life pet on Wizard101 Central! I wanted a snowhoppers mainly for a look and some pretty good talents for my level 30 life! I found Autumn who was willing to hatch with me. She was very friendly and cooperative. I arrived a few minutes early and she was already there "afk spinning." Her name on Central I believe is Sophia Deathcaster (will have to double check that) so if you bump into a thread by her be sure to check it out!
I used my normal pet (rescue rover) and the hatch began! Gold was high, but I had a lot so it didn't really matter much to me. Now I have 20,000 which I am going to use in the next couple days... :P
Ahhh they are so cute!
I took a quick stop to the dye shop (for renaming) and then I was off!
They sure do like their cake, pizza, and apples!
Fwi, Baby is the blonde bunny and Cocoa is the chocolate colored bunny :)
I did dancing after I got bored of the maze game, but I couldn't bare seeing the poor bunnies get sad for very long.
Cocoa's face in this picture makes me smile haha!
Before long, I'm at adult!
Let's just say I failed this pretty miserably. I used to be able to do 1 & 2 very well but it's been awhile and I forgot how. Would someone be happy to offer me a tutoring lesson? We can schedule a time to meet ;)
However, derby cheered me up! I got 2nd ;)
ANCIENT! They grow up so fast ;D
Overall, it was super fun to train up a pet again. I'm halfway to epic and seriously can't wait until I can log back on. Homework is killing me! Why do you have to be so time consuming! Ugh! ;( Anyway, if you're reading Autumn, thank you! When we both have gold, I'll definitely hatch again!
See you in the hatchery!
