Hey Everyone! I hope KI adds fish in the upper worlds, one being Mirage! Well, we already have something similar, which would be the fish in the Nomad's Camp House, the house from the Mirage Raider's Bundle! Read with me through this guide on the fish caught here!
I can't wait to catch me some of these fish, especially a Qismah Doodle! Below is a fishing video at the Nomad's Camp by Blaze Lifehammer that all of you should check out! ;) Happy fishing!

Hey Everyone,
I know I am a day late but, happy Thanksgiving! I hope you had a yummy feast and great day with the family! We are thankful for so many things in this world that we don't even recognize every day. Yesterday we were all reminded about those many amazing things in life! Never take any of it for granted ;) So today, I am thanking all of my friends, viewers, family, and everyone else for encouraging me! I never could have made this website without all of you. Thank you to those nice, appreciative, friendly, funny wizard friends (especially Fiona Icebreeze and Jasmine Griffinspear) for making my day every day I'm online with you! You always cheer me up, or give me an idea for a post when I am stuck :D We're always pulling each other out of the ditches! ;) :D I saw on my site management that over just this week, I have had 1,300 viewers! That is my highest! Thank you everyone! I hope I have helped you greatly! I can't wait to help all of you more! Have a happy Black Friday/ day after Thanksgiving, see all of you soon!! ~ Allison Dragongem <3 Hey Everyone, KI has some new interesting spells for Mirage! My favorite animation from Polaris is the Nested Fury and my favorite animation from Mirage is Scorching Scimitars! Here I'm going to show you all the spells from the current past 2 worlds and explain the differences between them and which is better! :D Myth:Witch's Housecall vs Snake Charmer! My Thoughts I personally like the Witch's Housecall animation better. For damage, Snake Charmer is average as a single hit, doing in between the amount of Housecall. For 4 target, it is not high. Humongofrog can do more for the same amount of pips - 4. Mathematically, Charmer does 264 damage to 4 targets and 352 to 3. Frog is slightly better for 4, but accuracy also counts by a bit :) Storm:Rusalka's Wrath vs Iron SultanSkip to 11:15 for animation on Rusalka's Wrath.
My Thoughts Rusalka's Wrath in my opinion has a better animation and damage. Iron Sultan's damage is pretty low for a storm spell, even if at only 4 pips. On Rusulka, it's 1352 damage and +25% or -50% to next spell for only 2 more pips. As a single hit or all hit, Iron is not your winner at either. Balance:Nested Fury vs Sand WormMy Thoughts I believe the Nested Fury's animation and damage is better than the Sand Worm's. Sand Worm is good as a single hit, but with 3 or 4 targets it is really low. Nested Fury does way more as an all. I would suggest Nested Fury to be better, but if you are more of a single hitter, then it's Sand Worm, but with all the mobs you have to do in Mirage, I would think a majority would want to use the 6 pip aoe. Death:Winged Sorrow vs Qismah's CurseMy Thoughts Winged Sorrow's animation is amazing and it's damage is better too but only as an aoe. Winged Sorrow is a single hit and does 735-1005 damage, while Qismah's Curse as a single hit is 1020 damage. As an 3 or 4 target, Qismah, like some of the other examples above and below, does not rule the park. But because Winged Sorrow is not an aoe, Qismah is the best Death has atm. Life:Wings of Fate vs Lllamasu
My Thoughts First, Wings of Fate is a better animation. Second, Llamasu is okay damage as a single hit, since it is less pips. As aoe, I am not so sure because the damage is low. 4 more pips below we have forest lord. Ice:Snowball Barrage vs Climaclysm
If you think about it, 85 damage to all enemies is really good. If you had as many pips as the Climaclysm cost, which would be 4, it would do 340 damage to each enemy NOT divided. Climaclysm's damage divided into 4 targets would be 246. So, snowball barrage is better. I like its animation better too. Fire:Raging Bull vs Scorching Scimitars
Raging Bull does a decent amount of damage, but costs 2 pips more than Scorching Scimitars. That's what you have to consider. For one target, it's Scorching Scimitars. If you divided that by 4 though, it would be 273. So, what's better, 273 damage to all for 4 pips, or 514-802 damage to all and minis 40 accuracy to all for 6 pips. I believe I'd choose Raging Bull for an all target. I love love Scorching Scimitars animation though! :D Final ThoughtsI do not really like this dividing mechanic. The 4 target is really low for most of the spells. I think KI should have done their spells similar to the Polaris spells, kind of like since for example, fire got a Polaris aoe so they could get a Mirage single hit, and the other way around. This dividing mechanic is only useful most of the time for targeting one or two enemies. Plus proven by my analysis, some, not all, of the Polaris spells are better than the Mirage as an all hit. These spells don't have as much originality in their animations either. I'd rather KI stick to old spell mechanics.
Have fun questing! ~ Allison Dragongem Hey Everyone! House tours are made a lot more extraordinary with Castle Magic! You can do about anything MAGICAL ;) such as pulling levels to light braziers and such, float objects, CAST SPELLS, and even make things disappear! Your homes will start to actually look like wizard homes with all these interactive updates! Here's quoted text from the Update Notes: Take your Castle to an all new level of complexity and fun with Castle Magic! To begin, locate Babbage Basset in Regent’s Square of Marleybone and take his new quest, “Strange Charms.” Basset will give you a “Castle Magic Help Tome” that you can place in your house. (NOTE: later in the Test Realm the quest involving the Help Tome will be more interactive, but for now, you’ll need to go through the tome manually to learn more about this new system.) Once you’re well trained with the Castle Magic system, Babbage will sell you special “castle magic” items and treasure cards so you can turn your castle into a unique experience your guests have never seen before. Now you’ll be able to make items move, appear, animate, and react to your visitor’s actions and locations. You’ll even be able to build simple puzzles similar to those found in the early dungeons of Wizard101! We can’t wait to see your creations. Videos on YouTube about Castle Magic!
My Thoughts?
Amazing! I totally love Castle Magic! W101 has needed something like this for a long time and I am finally happy that KI created it! Thank you KI! This will bring back some more attention to house tours! Can't wait to see how creative some wizards get! I suggest all of you housers, big or small, to do Castle Magic! It is truly awesome! Hope to see all of you housing around ;) ~ Allison Dragongem <3 Hey Everyone! Mirage is the sight to see, especially during this chilly weather time! Hot and sandy all year, there are expansive dunes and mysteries held, such as the Sands of Time and the warriors of Aggrobah! But, there are a few downs. Though I have not yet been to Mirage, it feels like I have from watching lots of questing videos from the sandy land! Blaze Lifehammer has a lot of great videos on his YouTube channel! Below are my 2 favorites! :D
I have a different opinion from the one below, but it is still interesting to listen to. Update Notes InformationUpdate Notes Text:
Step into Mirage, a world of shifting sands and shifting allegiances, where ancient treasures and ancient dangers were buried in the hope they might never again see the light of day.
For Crowns players, Mirage contains 6 separate Premium Zones, priced at 1995c each. My Thoughts: OOH! I am interested about the last 2 bullets most of all! :D :D KI stated that it is hidden from us who is the last boss of Mirage for now, until it is made live. NO SPOILERS :D (I am happy about that, surprises are much better ;) ) I really like Mirage, but if I had to choose between it and Polaris, I'd choose Polaris. I just love the wintry environment with polar bears and penguins. Plus, nothing can beat Polaris's graphics and storyline! :D Mirage has its grinding mobs, and it isn't as fun. I never liked the repetitive mobs. Most people who love Polaris, don't like Mirage. Most people who love Mirage, didn't really like Polaris. I guess it's our different ways of game play. I do like a challenge, but the repetitiveness isn't needed. It gets annoying, and kind of boring honestly. I want more worlds like Polaris. Polaris was short, but the graphics made up for it ;) However, I recommend you completely enjoy Mirage, and don't speed as fast as you can. It is more about enjoying it than getting max level, remember that ;) I hope you have an amazing, testing filled day! I will add more videos from Blaze to this page as he posts more :) Until then, explore Mirage! ~ Allison Dragongem<3 |
