Hewwo there! I am Blobby the gobbler, and I'm sure you've heard of my good ol' times on this bwlog. Nwo? Well here is a new seriwes called Gobbler Diaries, and twoday I will be whyting about the fwun time when Alwi and mwe went fishin' in the Commons. It was an adventur' I will always remember. It all startwed on a summer Saturdway morning with cwystal bwue skies and windy bweezes. I woke up late as usuawal, but saw that no Alwi was there. Whenever I swept in like a sleepy boy, she was working on homework or typwing on her webwite like I am now, because I left her no time to do 'hat.
Well, when I swaw her not there, I went out of the Ravenwood tunnel, into the Commons, out to the Shopping District, and BWOOM! There she was, handing a wizard a few pieces of gwold and taking something off the selling rwacks. It was a big pole wit' a string on it. I had nwo idea what it was. Then, she twurned around excitedly and handed it to mwe. "Blobby!" she said "Today is the start of Boating Week! Do you know what Boating Week is?" "Nuh wuh," I shook my head, cwonfused. "It's when there is exclusive fish around the Spiral! We're gonna catch a bunch of fish that are rarely around! Isn't that going to be awesome!!" she screamed. Whenever Alwi is happwy, I act happwy "Ruh!" I said, lifting her into my arms like she is a wittle ragdoll. I had been doing it since I had grown and was bigg'r than her. "To The Commons!" she shouted as I bobbled her through the crowded streets. When we arrived to the pwond in the center of The Commons, I dropped her down in the gwass and sat beside her. Alwi dusted herswelf off and then unreeled the fishin' pole. "Okay, Blobby," she whispered, "We have to be really quiet for the fish to bite our lure. Can you do that?" "Ruh huh!" I said prowdly. "Shh!" I quickly went siwent. Alwi casted a death lure into the water, then leaned back to me and quietly spoke, "I am looking for a black catfish. Tell me if you think you see one." "Ruh huh!" I said prowdly again. "Shh!" Alwi groaned, annoyed. I could not hwelp it. It is a gobbler thing. I sighed, standing up ready to go back to the dorm. It was c'wear she did not want me here. But twhen, I saw a bwack fish with big ears and big whiskers. It was my chwance to show Alwi I could do swomething wight! "Where! Where!" I yelled, splashing through the water. I dunked my fwace into the pool, and came lifting it up with a black cwatfish on my tongue. Alwi was waughing and waughing and waughing while I was wunning awound like a widdiot with a fish biting my tongue. "Okay, okay Blobby," she giggled, "Stay still and I will get him off you." She pwulled and pwulled until the cwatfish finally got off and she shoved him into a net and then into her bag. "Lets hurry home before this fella bites through the net!" We dashed to the dorm like never bwefore, speedily locking t'we door bwehind us and threw the catfish in an aquarwium with a big SPWOOSH! He swam around, wooking at wus with big gween eyes. "Oh Blobby, your tongue!" Alwi sighed, "But hey, thanks for catching him! Every time we look at him we'll think of your poor sore tongue. Wait! We'll name him Poor Sore Tongue! PST, for short." And she was wight. Whenever I saw him, I thwought of my achwing tongue, and it still has a bite mwark on it from that one Satwurday cwystal bwue morning in summer.

Hey Everyone, While we are all enjoying our gobbler mounts, I thought it would be fun to create a story about the adventures of a wizard and a gobbler. Enjoy! Since the start, he's been there for me. We've stuck together for as long as I could remember. Learning magic, fighting creatures, having fun; it was all with him. He's my best friend. He's Blobby, a gobbler. We first met in the outter regions of Colossus Boulevard, while I was on a mission. I was to assemble peace with the gobblers, though it was not the way their preferred of living. The Gobbler King was the ruler of the land, and he and his people wanted to conquer Wizard City and make it Gobbler City. It was defenitely the trickiest mission I had gotten yet. Peace, is a wonderful thing. However, it was not going to work here. I sat by my partner, Mindy Pixiecrown, on a cold, shivering Saturday, looking out into the disastrous boulevard. Houses were being chewed, weeds and dying plants were growing on the snowy lawns, and it reeked of many different odors that I couldn't even begin to describe. We sighed, hopelessly. We'd come to the point where we thought of fighting, but it wasn't a wizard's way to fight first. I mean, what else were we going to do? That's right, nothing. As we started to stand up and prepare for battle, we spotted a little gobbler skipping along the streets, happy as can be. He was eating a cupcake, with his other hand full of a batch of dried stinkweed. Stupidly, he walked right up to us, face covered in frosting and grinned up at us. He had a little tuft of hair on his big pumpkin head, and his belly was sticking out. His legs were little stumps, and his ears were as big as a elephant calf's. To my surprise, he seemed... harmless. We both stood there for a minute or so. Finally, he said "I've never seen a wizard before." His voice, as all gobblers were, was a bit muffled, mainly because his little mouth was devouring a cupcake in a few bites. "We've never seen a young gobbler before," I said, peering over at Mindy who's mouth was stuck wide open. "Oh, really?" he asked, "I've heard a lot about wizards. Why do you want to take our land and move us out?" "What? No!" I said, astonished, "We want to form a peace treaty with your people." "Oh well my daddy works for the king and that's what he told me." The little gobbler crossed his arms, while eating his last bite. "Ah, the king," I groaned, shaking my head. "Your king wants you to think that. He really wants to take over Wizard City." "He'd never do that," he smiled. "And why not?" I laughed, crossing my arms. "Because he gives me all the food I want from his palace! He's really generous, you know." I never knew gobblers could be so stubborn and absent-minded! "So, you're a supporter of the king?" I questioned. Anything that could help us with peace with the gobblers was surely worth talking to a little squirmy gobbler. Mindy knew what I was doing, so her mouth was now closed. "His chefs are great!" he exclaimed. "No, his decisions for your kingdom." "I a supporter of happiness!" I could tell he knew nothing, so I tried to break it down to gobbler form. "Peace means happiness," I said. "I like happy towns with food and unicorns!" "Um," I mumbled, "With peace you can have happy towns with food and unicorns." "Peace! Peace!" "Then peace it is," I smiled. From there, we walked to the Gobbler King's palace, and the little gobbler told stories about his wonky childhood, which made Mindy and I laugh uncontrollably. He said one time, he drank too much hot cocoa and blew up and popped like a balloon. Another time, when he was a baby and first born, he was a big green blob with a little face and stick arms and legs, so that is how his parents named him Blobby. And it suited him, so I decided to keep it. When we arrived to the palace, we convinced the king that peace was the right way to go. We cheered and hoorayed, but it was time for me to go back home. Blobby started softly crying. I was the only friend he ever knew. So, in thanks for helping us bring peace, I brought him out into the world of Wizard City, to find his forever home. We went to the shopping district and he tried on a bunch of clothes, but nothing fit him. We went fishing, and he caught a catfish in his mouth, but it bit his tongue. We went to the library, and he ate a book because there was a picture of a cupcake on it. Oh the fun times. But today, was the eighth year I had been living in Wizard City. I could not believe how fast the time has flown by! When I found Blobby, I'd been there only a year, and had no friends at all. But he, the little weirdo, was my partner in crime. However, I almost lost the greatest, silliest, weirdest partner I ever knew. I was at my dorm room, setting up all the decorations. Balloons were tied to chairs, the table was decorated with a birthday table cloth, and I had made a huge vanilla cream layer cake, me and Blobby's favorite. After we were done admiring the decorations, I thought it was time for some photos. "Photo time, Blobby?" I asked. He walked over and picked me up like I was a rag doll, dragging me across the floor. Many years ago when he grew bigger than me, he started carrying me everywhere. My head bobbed and my legs flied all around. He loved it, so I just kept it that way. I set the camera on timer and it took several pics, all which I probably looked horrible, drooping down. The first time I went to a party with Blobby was my mom's fourth wedding anniversary, and she said I looked deadly tired, but I told her it was all Blobby's fault for carrying me. At least, it wasn't as bad as when I brought Blobby to her house the day we met. She freaked, but learned to like the little squirt quickly. We sat down at the table for a few minutes, relaxing, but then the crowd came pouring in. Mom, Dad, my sister Keira, her friends, Mom's friends, Mom and Dad's distant relatives, and so much more. I only had chairs for 6, so I decided to just stack the chairs in the corner of the room for more space. Everyone just hanged around for the first hour, congratulating me on being her a while, my accomplishments, asking how I liked it and what I liked best, about my magic studies, and so on. Blobby attracted some attention from the people I do not see often, such as my cousin Katie, who is five years old, and her mom. "Mommmyyyy!" Katie cried, "It's a monster!" "No, no," I smiled, "That's my friend, Blobby. He's a gobbler." Quickly, I could not help out Blobby any more, due to the fact I was being dragged away by Auntie Angie. "Oh... hehe!" Katie smiled, touching Blobby's big belly. He tilted his head at her, confused. "Mommy, look at him!!" Katie cried. "Did you make a new friend, Katie?" Katie's mom asked. "Yeah!" Minutes later we all gathered around outside at the myth school, our family's school, and took pictures, all of which I was being carried by Blobby. While the group stayed outside, Blobby and I went into my dorm to prepare the cake. I cut it into many slices and added some decoratons and candles on top. Looking at it, I think it is one of my best. :) "Okay," I said, turning to my gobbler friend, "I'm going to go explain how the rest of the celebration will work out, you stay here." "Ruh huh," he said, as I closed the door behind me. "Is the cake ready?" Auntie Angie asked me. "Yes, and it's your favorite," I replied. I told everyone that we will be serving inside and eating outside on the lawn. Then, we'd be chatting more and it'd be time to wrap up soon after. With the party members behind me, I stepped into my dorm, and my entire stomach flip-flopped around. Everybody gasped, some dropping their paper plate out of their hand. Blobby ate my eighth birthday. "Blobby!" I yelled, "How could you! Go away, I don't want someone who only cares about food at my party!" Tears started growing in Blobby's eyes, and he ran out of my dorm, quicker than I saw him ever before. "Oh, honey," Mom said, patting my back, "He didn't mean to, sweetie. It's just a gobbler thing. He didn't want to ruin it. Don't scare him like that." "I know, I know," I sighed, "He... he..." "Ate the cake, tore down the streamers, I know. It's not his fault though." "I got to find him. Please keep the others occupied, don't let them think I am gone," I said, dashing for the one place I knew he'd be. Getting closer and closer, I saw Blobby's big green self, sitting in the corner weeping. I walked up to him, patting my hand on his shoulder. "It's okay, bud. It's okay." "Ruh," he said upset, shifting away from me. "It was not your fault Blobby. You are my best friend. I'd never push you away like that." I looked up. The place was just as I remembered, the day I met him. Same spot, where Mindy and I were standing. Same chewed rooftops, stinkweed odor, and crystal blue skies. "It was a day I'll never forget. One of the best of my life." His wide gobbler eyes stared at me, innocently. "Okay, the best," I laughed, "But, Blobby, please come back to with me. We have the best times when we're together." "Ok," he mumbled, standing up. "Race ya!" I cried, as we darted through the snow all the way back to Ravenwood. How did you like it? I think it turned out pretty well! See all of you in the game! Blobby and I (yes, Blobby's my gobbler :D lol) want to meet a Goblette! Lol! Have a great Tuesday, later wizards!

Lol have a great Labor Day! ~ Ali <3 (Computer now glitches the date on every post :( It apparently puts the day I started working on it, not the day I published. Sorry! Correct date is 8/14/16) Hey Everyone, I was exploring around the Spiral today and looking at a lot of different libraries, many which of I barely remembered. The libraries are great places for quiet research/studying and should be given more of a part in wizards life :) The librarians will help you find the books you are looking for. What I love most of all is the magic feel. It's always a safe place to go to :) So let's look at this libraries and start taking more thought into them! :D Currently, there are 5 libraries. One in Wizard City, Krokotopia, Wysteria, Dragonspyre, and Zafaria. I think libraries should be added to more locations in the Spiral. :) Wizard City LibraryThe Wizard City Library is amazing with its flying books, wide variety of resources, and great head librarian Harold Argleston! You can find books on any magical arts school, spell, or professor. There is also a pedestal upstairs that tells about the first three schools; storm, ice, and fire. It is cool to see all the books flying to their shelves. I wonder what's down the blocked halls?? Krokotopia LibraryLots of scrolls on mander history, and Zan'ne is very informative as well! I like the secret tunnel which leads to the skeleton key room! Wysteria Library ArchivesBeyond amazing! Every room is stacked with piles and piles of books from head to toe. I could spend hours in there! It is inside a dungeon, but you do not have to fight anyone to get into the library. Just watch out for rooms with creatures in them! :) Dragonspyre LibraryAlthough very untidy, the Dragonspyre library has a large selection of books from way back DS history! It's very cool what you can find in there! Familiar to many of you, this is where you also find Loremaster :D If you have not already, read my test realm post about the new spells she drops! Zafaria LibraryAt the ZF library, Mrs. Kiliman Copperleaf has plenty of books for you to read about the jungle, creatures there, and the history of the rhinos! Has lots of area for you to move around, too! :) Those are the Spiral's libraries! I hope you go check them out yourself! :)
If you liked this post, here is a forums you may be interested in. Is there a library in Marleybone? Have a great day, see all of you at the library! :D ~ Allison <3 Hey Everyone, First of all, I hope you're having a happy 4th of July :D Remember those who suffered for our freedom! But, the reason I'm blogging today is because I thought Wizardly Writings should start having its own sub-series, so here is one of them that I have been planning for the past few days! :) Diary of Bailey and Sierra! Enjoy this post explaining what is to come! Introduction to Bailey & SierraBailey Glade and Sierra Mist are best friends since they enrolled in Ravenwood. They're life wizards questing together currently in Triton Avenue. But not all they do is quest. So far, we've been ice skating, swimming, to a hotel, to a wizard restaurant, and as well as many shopping sprees :P There is a lot more to come! Bailey = light green, brown hair Sierra = dark green, black hair Look forward to a Diary of Bailey and Sierra post soon!! Cya later!!
