Hey Everyone, For my first Around-about Spiral, I will talk about some odd things happening in the game. Recently, I have read a lot about homeless pets found around The Spiral with no owner around. I might have even seen one myself without knowing it. More and more pets have been seen, and I am excited to find out the cause! Muffin The HydraI'm going to discuss my favorite homeless pet story, Muffin the hydra. There is a whole thread dedicated to him/her! Muffin is a unique pet. You'd normally find a lost hound or a stray mummy cat, but Muffin was a hydra. On April 2nd, 2015 (10:15 PM), Rachel Dreamsong (Stormystore on the forums) found this pet in the hatchery, Realm Bernie Area 1. She states nobody was around, and Muffin was all there by himself. Many others found this interesting, so they went to check out this little guy. They started a "Save the hydra!" campaign all across the Spiral! However, 5 days later, Tyler Pyre (Zamorak) discovered Muffin back at the hatchery, same spot. And, the whole thing ended there. I wonder if someday Muffin will return, although it seems he has ended his journey and found his owner. Hooray for Muffin! :) All Just a Computer Lag?Yes, it's true, it was all just a computer lag. The owner probably was standing there with Muffin and went off, leaving the poor pet lagging behind, apparently just standing there. We never found out who the owner was or what happened to Muffin. I personally was not there to see the hydra, so it's an honor for those who got to meet the little guy.
I hope you enjoyed this post! One mystery solved, many more to go! If you liked Muffin's story, you might want to check out this other story found online! Sebastian - the lonely flying squirrel Have you ever seen a ownerless pet? Comment below and tell your story! Cya later! ~ Ali <3
